University placement app for students. Flutter | Appwrite
Overview
A student-centric mobile application built to simplify and enhance the campus placement experience. This app allows students to seamlessly create and manage their professional profiles, upload all necessary documents such as resumes, transcripts, and certificates, and apply to job drives effortlessly with just a single click. Moreover, the application ensures students stay informed by receiving real-time announcements, updates, and important notifications directly from the Training & Placement department. It significantly reduces manual effort and promotes faster, more efficient communication between students and the department.
Approach
After numerous QnA sessions and meeting with our batchmates, we realised a gap with the placement department. We decided to build a mobile app in flutter built with appwrite.
Emails got missed. Repeated information was filled in each google form.
No direct communication system with the placement department.
No system to track responses.
Feature List
Authorization features - sign in, sign up, forgot password, update password.
Database feeature - Profile creation, applying to placement drives, storing students activity and data.
Storage features - Profile image upload, resume upload.
Realtime features - Realtime announcement updates and job drives updates with notification support.
